Towing a boat, anchoring

anchoring

When towing, the cockpit of the boat must be empty. The rope is attached to the towing loops located on each side of the hull at the bow. The towed boat must be kept under surveillance at all times.
While the boat is anchored, the anchor rope must be hooked to the D-bracket or anchor eye located on the bow of the boat.
The length of the anchor halyard should be at least 7 to 10 water depths at the anchorage site.
It is inadmissible to use a D-handle to secure the anchor halyard in rough seas. Immediately unmoor the anchor line and move to a windless anchorage.
