H1 Unlimited driver Scott Liddycoat experienced the "lifestyles of the rich and famous” with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with winning a UIM World Championship. A trip to Monte Carlo, Monaco, red carpet entry to the UIM Award Giving Gala and adulation from the world’s top boat racers was just part of being a champion.

Unlike what has been seen in Formula 1 car racing, Indianapolis car racing, NASCAR, or Limited class boat racing, Unlimited hydroplane racing has brought out many very unique and very unusual designs. Clear, not all of these worked as hoped, but they sure made things interesting, and often advanced the state of the technology.

2012 APBA Referee/Risk Manager Test
Here is the 2012 APBA Referee/Risk Manager's test. Anyone who is listed on a sanction for a race taking place after April 1, 2012, will need to take the test. Please take a few minutes to take the test and return it before the season gets busy.

A change to the Junior Classes' Hall of Champions rules was approved by the Board of Directors on Jan. 28, 2011, effective immediately for the 2011 racing season. Please take note; this affects both Junior and AX classes.
